Free history festival at St Thomas' Church, Salford, with MBBCS sharing stories from the canal's past.

The Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal Society will be at the Salford Histories Festival, sharing insights into the canal's history alongside other local groups and organisations. It's a chance to chat to volunteers, find out more about the restoration project and pick up some local history along the way. Entry is free and there's no need to book, just pop along to St Thomas' Church on Ford Lane in Pendleton to hear more from the society and the other exhibitors taking part.
