A free talk on sperm whales covering their biology, history and ongoing scientific research.

Manchester Museum's Research Studio hosts this short talk looking at the history, biology and enduring mystery of the sperm whale, from its central role in the whaling industry to what scientists are still finding out about the species today. It runs for half an hour over lunchtime. The talk is free but you need to book online in advance. It's part of the museum's Collection Bites series of short talks in the Research Studio.
