Join Nigel Ellis from the Friends of Lincoln Castle for a lunchtime talk looking at the history of illuminated manuscripts, the handwritten and decorated books produced before printing arrived in the 15th century. The talk covers the books themselves, the materials used to make them, and the people who wrote and illuminated them, including examples relevant to Lincoln. A complimentary tea or coffee is included while you listen. Tickets cost £5 per person and places are limited, so booking ahead is needed to secure a spot.
