The Santa Claus Experience

A pre-booked 90-minute festive tour with Santa's grotto, gingerbread decorating and a teddy bear to make and take home.

The Santa Claus Experience at Lee Valley Animal Adventure Park is a 90-minute guided tour that starts at Passport Control and takes you through a run of festive stops: the Buddy the Elf show, a visit to Mother Christmas's kitchen, decorating your own gingerbread person, meeting Santa in his grotto with photo opportunities, and finishing at the Teddy Bear Market where every child makes and keeps their own cuddly teddy bear. It's pre-book only, so tickets need to be arranged in advance, and the farm park itself is closed during the event with only the tour running that day. A £2.50 booking fee per ticket applies for processing and ticketing. This suits families wanting a structured Christmas outing with a bit of theatre to it, as the elves lead groups through each section and the format is designed with children taking part throughout, including a hands-on moment helping Santa. Tour details may be adjusted slightly as Christmas approaches.
