An evening talk on Georgian corpse theft, with a full-scale replica anti-body snatching coffin.

This evening talk at the Hunterian Museum digs into the murky world of Georgian corpse theft, when stolen bodies were in high demand for anatomical study. As part of it, you can examine a full-scale reconstruction of an anti-body snatching coffin, one of the devices families once used to protect graves from the resurrection men. It runs from 7pm to 9pm on 22nd October 2026 at the Hunterian Museum, part of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Lincoln's Inn Fields, London. Booking is recommended.
