Acting for Screen

Practical acting for camera workshop for 16-22 year olds at Helmsley Arts Centre.

This workshop gives 16-22 year olds a practical introduction to acting for the camera, looking at what it takes to perform naturally and authentically on screen rather than on stage. Participants explore screen technique through hands-on exercises during the session. It runs for an hour and a half at Helmsley Arts Centre, suited to young people interested in film and TV acting who want to try it out in a supportive workshop setting.
