1812 Theatre Company - Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller

Amateur theatre production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, recommended for ages 12+.

The 1812 Theatre Company presents Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, directed by Julie Lomas, at Helmsley Arts Centre. The play follows the last day of Willy Loman, a failing salesman unable to understand how he missed out on success and happiness, and traces the tragic revelations about his life with his wife, sons and business associates as his pursuit of the "American Dream" blinds him to those who truly love him. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International on behalf of Josef Weinberger Ltd, and is recommended for ages 12 and up. Performances run Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026, with evening shows at 7.30pm except Saturday 17 October, which is a 2.30pm matinee only. Tickets cost £12, with £6 for under-18s, plus a £1.50 booking fee for online purchases.
