A 10th anniversary exhibition of rare and never-before-shown William Heath Robinson artwork.
This landmark exhibition brings together never-before-exhibited and rarely seen works by William Heath Robinson, spanning his career from his earliest illustrations to his final years. The pieces are drawn from the Heath Robinson family, private collections, museums and specialist archives, many of which will return to private hands once the exhibition closes. Arranged chronologically, Unseen runs alongside the museum's permanent exhibition next door and is included with your ticket. While the permanent gallery tells the established story of Heath Robinson's life and work, this show opens the archive drawers to reveal sketches, experiments, lesser-known commissions and unexpected discoveries, alongside rarely seen pieces from the museum's own collection. The museum is open Thursday to Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays, 11am to 4pm. Tickets can be booked online or bought in person during opening hours.
