Owls by Moonlight

An after-dark evening watching owls fly silently over the Woodland and Savannah Arenas at the Hawk Conservancy Trust.

Owls by Moonlight is an evening event where you watch owls flying in the dark, swooping over the Savannah Arena and through the woodland. Doors open at 5.30pm giving you time to explore parts of the grounds and meet other owls in the Trust's care, with staff on hand to talk about the conservation and research work done with British owls, before two flying displays get underway at 7pm in the Woodland and Savannage Arenas. It's held outdoors in a natural countryside setting, so sensible footwear and warm, weatherproof clothing are recommended, and a small torch is handy (just don't shine it into aviaries or during the displays). Feathers Restaurant will be serving food and drink through the evening. These dates sell out, so early booking is advised.
