Dusting in the Old Library

Watch the Collections Care Team and volunteers dust and care for books in the Old Library every Wednesday.

Every Wednesday, visitors can drop into the Old Library at Harewood House and see the Collections Care Team and their volunteers at work, carefully dusting and caring for the historic books in the collection. It's a chance to see the behind-the-scenes conservation work that keeps the House's treasures in good condition, and to ask the team questions about how they look after such a large library. It's free for Members, and suits anyone with an interest in history, books or how heritage collections are cared for.
