A major exhibition of Cecil Beaton's portrait photography, from Hollywood stars to royalty, at Harewood House.
Step into Cecil Beaton's glamorous world at Harewood House, where more than 60 photographs from the National Portrait Gallery's collection go on show, some for the first time. Beaton captured Hollywood legends, West End stars and the British royal family, and this exhibition traces his theatrical approach to portraiture, with era-defining images of Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Fred Astaire and Queen Elizabeth II among others. The show also reveals Harewood's own links to Beaton and his circle. Entry is included with a valid Harewood day ticket and is free for Members. The exhibition runs from 11am to 3.30pm daily, with last entry at 3pm. It's organised by the National Portrait Gallery in partnership with Harewood House Trust, and audio guides are available to help visitors explore at their own pace.
