Free book launch at Fruitmarket for JL Williams' poetry collection Strange Architectures, with readings from the 12 collective.

Join JL Williams at Fruitmarket for the launch of her new collection Strange Architectures, poems born from vivid dreams of buildings and spaces during the pandemic years. Williams reads poems chosen by 12, a collective of women writers, and in turn poets from 12 read new work written in response, making for a multi-voiced evening of poetry. Readers include Tessa Berring, Anne Laure Coxam, Lynn Davidson, Harry Josephine Giles, Jane Goldman, Marjorie Lotfi, Saskia McCracken, Jane McKie, Theresa Muñoz, Catherine Street, Alice Tarbuck, JL Williams and Karen McCarthy Woolf. Admission is free, and the event suits anyone with an interest in contemporary poetry and collaborative writing.
