Ghoul and Ghost Trail October - November 2026

A free Halloween trail around Elsecar Heritage Centre hunting for ghosts and local legends.

This Halloween, Elsecar Heritage Centre is running a Ghoul and Ghost Trail across its grounds, inviting visitors to track down spooky ghosts hidden around the site. Along the way you'll pick up spine-tingling local legends, including tales of The Lady in White and The Thrope Hesley Boggart. The trail runs from Saturday 24 October to Monday 2 November and entry is free, making it an easy one to drop into during the half-term break.
