A Diesel Multiple Unit shuttle runs to Ravenstor Station, the line's most northerly point.
Hop aboard the Ravenstor Shuttle, a Diesel Multiple Unit service that takes you to Ravenstor Station, the most northerly point on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. The station sits just half a mile from Wirksworth Station, at the end of a 1-in-27 incline, and on arrival you could be forgiven for thinking you'd ended up in the middle of nowhere. The shuttle runs on 3 October 2026 from 10:15am to 5:00pm. It operates on the same day as the Duffield Shopper Special service.
