We Will Rock You

Amateur production of the Queen jukebox musical We Will Rock You, staged at Derby Theatre with age guidance 10+.

KTCollective bring their amateur dramatic production of We Will Rock You to Derby Theatre, telling the story of Galileo and Scaramouche as they join the Bohemians to challenge the all-powerful Globalsoft Corporation and bring live music back to a world where instruments have been banned. The show features more than 20 Queen hits and was written by Ben Elton, mixing comedy and rebellion with the band's biggest songs. Performances run from Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October 2026, with evening shows at 7.30pm and matinee and evening options on the Saturday. Age guidance is 10+, and the show contains loud music, mild adult humour and innuendo, occasional strong language, stylised violence and flashing and strobe lights, so it suits families with older children rather than young ones. A BSL interpreted performance takes place on Thursday 29 October at 7.30pm. Standard tickets cost £24.50 to £26, with under 16s priced at £22 to £23.50.
