Free photography exhibition celebrating Reading's Black community, on show throughout October, suitable for all ages.

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Heritage is a photography exhibition by Gill G Sinclair, who spent time on the streets of Reading connecting with Black residents to capture their portraits. The result is a collection that aims to be inclusive and democratic, showing the everyday diversity of the town through genuine, unposed images rather than formal studio shots. The exhibition runs throughout October and can be viewed at CultureMix Arts & Music Centre as well as Reading Biscuit Factory. Entry is free, no booking is required, and it's suitable for all ages.
