Dance theatre revisiting the 2021 Kenmure Street immigration raid in Pollokshields, recommended for ages 12+.

These Are Our Neighbours is a documentary-inspired dance theatre production by Katharine Williams, revisiting the attempted immigration raid on Kenmure Street in Pollokshields in 2021, when the local community gathered for eight hours to stop two people being deported. Developed with the Pollokshields community, it combines testimony, movement, music and light to tell the story of that day. The show runs 70 minutes with no interval. It's on at the Citizens Theatre's Studio Theatre from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 October 2026, with performances at 7:45pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus 2:30pm matinees on Thursday and Saturday. Friday's evening show includes a post-show talk, and Saturday's 7:45pm performance is captioned. Tickets are £17.50 with a £1.50 booking fee per transaction, and Individual and Joint Theatre Passes, Access, Gorbals, Under 30s and Low Income passes apply. Recommended for ages 12+, with occasional strong language and themes of systemic oppression and racism.
