Heritage Building Tours

A 90-minute guided tour of the Citizens Theatre building, recommended for ages 12 and up.

Join a guided 90-minute tour around the Citizens Theatre's front-of-house areas, taking in hidden corners, restored features and brand new spaces alongside the historic parts of the building. The guide shares stories of legendary productions, backstage innovations and the community spirit behind the Citz, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how the theatre works past and present. Sessions run at different times across each month, so there's a chance to fit one in with a morning coffee, a lunch break or a more leisurely afternoon with friends. The tour is recommended for ages 12 and up. Community tours for groups, plus multi-lingual, Audio Described and BSL Interpreted tours, can be arranged separately by emailing participate@citz.co.uk.
