Spot every scarecrow on the garden trail, then cast your vote for the winner this half term.

Kids lead the hunt - follow the trail through the gardens and pleasure grounds to find scarecrows made by staff and volunteers, then vote for your favourite. Start at the ticket office and keep your eyes peeled as you explore. The trail itself is free; normal Park and Gardens admission applies (child 5-17 from £4.25; under-5s free; adult £8.50). Booking not needed. Paths suit wheelchairs and buggies, with some steeper slopes. Outdoor trail - dress for the weather. About 35-45 minutes south of Derby.
