A free, timed 5km run at Astbury Mere Country Park every Saturday morning at 9am.

Congleton Parkrun is a free, timed 5km run held at Astbury Mere Country Park every Saturday at 9am. It's not a race against others, just you against the clock, and all paces are welcome. You'll need to register with Parkrun before your first visit (only ever register once) and bring a printed copy of your barcode along with you. There's no charge to take part. If you can walk or cycle to the park rather than drive, organisers ask that you do, and if you do need to drive, follow the marshalls' instructions and take care around the road junctions on Sandy Lane to avoid disturbing local residents.
