Mannington Minnows

Wild Woods sessions for 7-11s and their grown-ups, hunting for autumn creatures and clues in Mannington's woodland.

Mannington Minnows is an outdoor nature club for children aged 7-11, held in the grounds of Mannington Estate. This October half term the theme is Wild Woods, with children and their accompanying grown-ups searching the autumn woods for creatures and clues. Choose either Thursday 29th or Friday 30th October, 10:00-12:30. Sessions are designed for the 7-11 age range, though younger or older siblings are welcome to tag along with the caveat that activities are pitched at the older end. These are child and parent/carer sessions only, with the adult responsible for their children throughout, and involve walking moderate distances on uneven, potentially muddy ground, so dress for the weather. Bring your own drinks and snacks or use the on-site café. Only children need a ticket, priced per child per session as Standard £12, Pay It Forward £16 (which helps fund concession places) or Concession £8. The ticket also covers car parking and general admission, so afterwards the family can make use of the café, playground and walled garden. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
