Museums in Belfast

Belfast's museum scene, on here at least, comes down to one big one, and it happens to be the city's most famous building. Titanic Belfast sits out in the Titanic Quarter, about two kilometres from the centre, and tells the ship's story in the shipyard where she was built. Tickets start from £11 and you book a timed slot rather than turning up on the off chance. Under-5s get in free, which helps if you're weighing this against other days out, and it's worth building the visit around that booked time rather than around lunch, since there's a cafe on site if plans slip. It's all indoors, so it's a solid pick when the weather turns, and there's parking and accessible toilets if that matters to your trip. School groups are catered for too, so half-term can get busy.
