What it’s like
An 18+ bar with pop and chart music nights, not somewhere to bring the kids at all.
This one's a straightforward no for a family day out. It's strictly 18+, and the site is upfront about it: under 18s are only allowed in before 8pm, which tells you exactly what kind of evening this turns into once the sun goes down. Think cocktails, draft beer, and a mix of pop and chart hits rather than anything a toddler or teenager would want to hang about for.
If you did have a reason to be there earlier in the day with a younger family member in tow, there's indoor seating and a cloakroom, so it's not completely hostile to the idea. But the whole setup, from the happy hour running 8 till 10 to the entry fee that kicks in after 10pm, is built around a night out for adults, not an afternoon with the kids.
Entry's free to get in, which is decent, though that fee after 10pm is worth knowing about if you're planning a longer night. Booking ahead is suggested but not required.
