This is a dessert bar rather than a sit-down restaurant, so the whole point is pudding first. Think waffles, sundaes and the kind of sharing plates that make a birthday table look good in photos. It's fully halal certified, and there's a dedicated vegan menu alongside gluten free options on request, so a mixed group with different diets can actually order together without anyone getting the sad plain fruit plate.

The hours are the real selling point. Doors open at 11am Monday to Thursday and stay open to midnight, Friday runs 11am to 1am, and at the weekend it opens earlier, from 10am, with Saturday also running through to 1am and Sunday to midnight. That flexibility makes it as much a late-evening treat as a daytime one, though if you're bringing younger children the late licence obviously matters less than the fact you can roll up mid-afternoon just as easily.

It's a cash-only setup, which is a bit of a throwback and worth remembering before you get to the till with your card out. High chairs are on site, so it works with a toddler in tow, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. There's parking nearby and outdoor play space too, which helps if you've got restless kids waiting for the sundaes to arrive.

Birthday parties are catered for, and with no booking system listed, the site's own advice is to walk in if you can, but book ahead if the date matters, since it says stores can get busy.
