What it’s like
An 18+ venue for DJ and aerial classes, jujutsu, spoken word and tabletop nights, not a kids' day out.
This one's not for the kids. Clock Factory is strictly 18+ with valid ID on the door, so if you were hoping for a family activity, this isn't it. Worth flagging clearly since the category might suggest otherwise.
What's actually on offer is aimed at adults: DJ Academy classes, aerial dance and circus training, combat jujutsu, spoken word nights and DnD or Warhammer tabletop sessions. Tickets swing wildly depending on when you book, from free e-tickets and a limited £4 first release right up to £8 on general release, so it pays to look early if the price matters to you.
The cloakroom will cost you £2.50 an item, and they're firm about it, no ticket, no belongings until the event ends. It's non-smoking throughout, with a designated outside area, and last entry is midnight, which tells you this is very much an evening and night crowd rather than an afternoon one.
