Draw with Dawn

Live weekend drawing sessions with author-illustrator Dawn Crothers at W5 Belfast, now finished for this run.

Draw with Dawn was a series of live drawing sessions held in the W5 Art Studio as part of The Snail Artist exhibition, running weekends between 5th and 27th September 2026 (excluding Saturday 19 September). Visitors picked up a pencil and drew alongside Dawn Crothers, the Northern Irish artist behind The Snail Artist, as she demonstrated how to create her snail characters, with two 30-minute sessions each day at 11am and 2pm. The sessions were included with general admission to W5 and gave people the chance to ask Dawn questions about her drawing techniques and take home their own snail artwork. This particular run has now finished, as the wider Snail Artist exhibition on Levels 3 and 5 ended on 27th September 2026.
