Brockholes Winter Celebration

An evening of fire, fun and Saturnalia-inspired winter festivities at Brockholes Nature Reserve.

Brockholes Nature Reserve marks the turn of the year with a winter celebration inspired by Saturnalia, the ancient Roman festival. Expect an evening built around fire and festivities out on the reserve, with the details of activities on the night set by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust team. Booking is handled through the Trust's events calendar, Eventbrite or its Facebook page, and payment is taken when you book. As with all Brockholes events, it's advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear, since outdoor events generally go ahead regardless of conditions.
