Family visits to Father Christmas in his grotto at The Bishop's Palace, £15 per child.

Children and their families can visit Father Christmas in his grotto at The Bishop's Palace in Wells, set in one of the Palace's atmospheric rooms decorated with frosty trees, wrapped presents and twinkling lights. Each visit lasts around 5 minutes, with a recommended maximum of four children per visit, so bigger groups may want to book consecutive slots. Daytime visits (before 4pm) include the grotto visit, a gift from Father Christmas, Festive Art Adventurers in the Undercroft, and a family trail around the Gardens and Palace. Evening visits (after 5pm) include the grotto visit, a gift, and a look at the Christmas illuminations in the Gardens and Palace. Tickets are £15 per child, and adult tickets should also be booked for anyone accompanying the children, giving everyone access to the gardens, Palace and grotto. Father Christmas is visiting on Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19, Sunday 20, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December.
