Candle-lit tour

A candle-lit guided tour of Temple Mine at Peak District Mining Museum, same tour and price as usual.

Temple Mine at the Peak District Mining Museum offered a special guided tour by candle light, running the same route and at the same price as the standard guided tour but lit only by candles, giving a sense of how old lead miners would have seen the mine. This particular tour took place on Sunday 7th December, at 1pm. Visitors would need to book ahead by phone with the museum, as is usual for their mine tours.
