A month-long exhibition of wildlife watercolours by fourteen-year-old local artist Jake Sexton at Attenborough Nature Centre.
Attenborough Nature Centre is showing the artwork of local wildlife artist Jake Sexton throughout November. The exhibition is set up in the corridor beyond the café and shop, and you can see it during standard opening hours, 9am to 4pm daily, from Sunday 1 November to Monday 30 November. A proportion of any sales goes to Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. Jake is fourteen and lives locally in Attenborough. He works in watercolours and paints subjects he finds in the natural world around him, including birds of prey, moths and fungi, with detailed work that shows a close eye for nature. Dogs are allowed on a lead, and the space suits people with limited mobility and wheelchair users, though there's no hearing loop. The centre has toilets, a shop, café, picnic area, accessible toilet, baby changing facilities, disabled parking and accessible trails.
